A steel fabrication and a dunnage manufacturing company in Perrysburg, OH is looking for a Shear Operator.

Shift: 1st Shift: M-Th 6:30 am – 5 pm; Fri 6:30 am- 3pm

As a Shear Operator will be using various machines to cold-cut steel with two opposing blades to fracture and separate sheet metal without heat or chips to produce fast, clean cuts for sheet and plate fabrication. Other duties include:

  • Preparing blanks for bending, stamping, or welding
  • Cutting sheets to size
  • Trimming edges
  • Automotive, construction, appliance manufacturing, and general fabrication industries
