Well-established company in Fostoria is seeking a full time Quality Manager! You would be responsible for the entire quality department within a 120-employee glass manufacturing operation. This position requires an extremely perceptive person with at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for site quality
  • Lead customer audits
  • Lead First Article Inspections
  • Analyze monthly quality metrics
  • Prepare monthly operations reviews with vendor and site data
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and methods
  • Provide development and training opportunities to staff

Qualifications

  • MUST have at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Leadership
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with quality management tools such as: root cause analysis, CAPA, SPC, and FMEA
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methods
