General Laborer/Blender

We are seeking a dependable General Laborer/Blender to join our production team in Milan, MI. The primary responsibility of this position is to set up, blend, and package dry chemical powders while maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe, clean work environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM with some OT available

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily mixes according to specifications (weigh and dump ingredients)
• Package materials into bags, jumbo sacks, vessels, or bulk tankers
• Operate blending and control panel equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete required production paperwork accurately and on time
• Take product samples for quality control testing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety procedures
• Assist maintenance department and other teams as needed
• Train new employees as assigned
• Perform other duties as directed by the Plant Manager or Operations Director

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical production preferred
• Ability to work safely with PPE, including gloves and eye protection
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow written instructions
