Well-established restaurant supply company is hiring a full time Sales/Office Assistant. 

Daily duties will include:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide customers with requested information (pricing, ship dates, freight estimates, etc.) ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Investigate and answer customer inquiries related to the catalog, products, and product use
  • Processing orders and quotes that are phoned in. faxed and emailed from our established customers as well as new customers
  • Proactively generate sales and promote company products
  • Interact with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctly
  • Order and source products
  • Pull inventory and prepare shipments along with inventory control


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills as well as good problem-solving capabilities
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment
  • Must have good customer service and time management skills
  • Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, especially Outlook and Excel
  • High school diploma
