Well-established restaurant supply company is hiring a full time Sales/Office Assistant.
Daily duties will include:
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide customers with requested information (pricing, ship dates, freight estimates, etc.) ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Investigate and answer customer inquiries related to the catalog, products, and product use
- Processing orders and quotes that are phoned in. faxed and emailed from our established customers as well as new customers
- Proactively generate sales and promote company products
- Interact with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctly
- Order and source products
- Pull inventory and prepare shipments along with inventory control
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills as well as good problem-solving capabilities
- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment
- Must have good customer service and time management skills
- Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
- Sales experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, especially Outlook and Excel
- High school diploma
