Customer Service/Call Center Associate

Rate: $12-$13 per hour based on experience


Now staffing for a Customer Service/Calls Center Associate for a growing organization in Canton, MI.  Must have outstanding Customer Service and computer skills.  This is a temp to hire opening. 

Job Duties:

  • Review all call center cases
  • Review customer cases to determine proper course of action within warranty guidelines
  • After determined, send case/request to appropriate department (Parts, Shipping, Technician Review, Manager Referral, etc.)
  • Make sure call center follows proper procedure regarding warranty
  • Correspond with customers by phone and email to answer questions/handle concerns
  • Verify warranty is still valid using Proof of Purchase
  • Schedule on-site service for the repair of TVs within Manufacturer warranty
  • Coordinate replacement of TVs (take credit card hold, ensure shipment/return of defective TV)
  • Create shipping labels
  • Give updates to customers and assigned service technicians at any time
  • Provide tracking numbers
  • Troubleshoot issues with TVs occasionally, diagnose, and take proper course of action
  • Be aware of parts/TV inventory


Job Requirements (Minimum Education / Experience / Training / Skills)

  • Minimum associate degree or equivalent
  • One year experience is preferred
  • Good communication skill (Oral/ Written)
  • Ability to use computer system established for customer service
